Who was a Head teacher and rugby player, was recently told he could have just six months to three years to live due to MND and his aim is to raise £1 million for our charity. Simon, aged 46, and his wife Maxine say they want to make the most of every second before Simon becomes ‘imprisoned in his own body’, so he has written a ‘bucket list’ of things to do before he dies.
His list includes a massive fundraising drive and a range of wishes from swimming with sharks and skiing off-piste to teaching his friends’ sons to fish. The teacher, self-confessed mad sportsman and seasoned world traveller said that he was still determined to live life to the full.
